Macedonia, officially North Macedonia, is a country defined by mountainous terrain, ancient ruins, and freshwater lakes.
The capital, Skopje, features a mix of Soviet-era concrete and Ottoman bazaars, with the Stone Bridge spanning the Vardar River.
